It has been over 3 years since we've heard anything from Michelle Branch, and about 7 years since we've heard any solo material. But that drought has come to an end, as Michelle Branch is set to release her third major solo release, "Everything Comes and Goes" on the 26th of January 2010.
Here's a brief history on Michelle Branch and her music - In 2001, she released "Spirit Room" which included the hit singles, "Everything", "All You Ever Wanted", and "Goodbye To You". Her sophomore album, "Hotel Paper" was released in 2003, and included, "Are You Happy Now?", "Breathe", and "Till I Get Over You". In 2005, Michelle Branch teamed up with Jessica Harp, one of her friends, to form the country duo "The Wreckers", and in 2006, they released their only album, "Stand Still, Look Pretty". And that's brings us to today, "Sooner Or Later" and "Everything Comes and Goes".
"Sooner or Later" is country pop, and pretty catchy, but I'm not liking it. I prefer Taylor Swift and her brand of country pop. I like Michelle Branch and her voice/singing, but I don't think it suites this genre. What do you all think?
