Paolo Nutini - "Autumn"

I enjoy my fair share on pop music, but I also enjoy a great singer-songwriter. And one of my favorites is the young and talented Scottish Paolo Nutini. He has released two albums, the amazing "The Streets" and "Sunny Side Up". "Sunny Side Up" is a great album, but "These Streets" is a pure genius, a definite masterpiece.

Paolo Nutini's voice is so captivating. Listening to his music is haunting and moving. He emotes every single word he sings. His voice is very distinct, which makes him sound wise and much older. "These Streets" has many great songs including the hits, "Last Request", "Jenny Don't Be Hasty", "These Streets" and "New Shoes".

"These Streets" is an album I can listen to from beginning to end, as all the tracks are great. But the standout song for me is called "Autumn". It is full of raw emotion, and it gives me chills every time I hear it. I literally stop what I'm doing and get lost in the song every time I hear it. The song was written by Paolo for his grandfather, who was his musical inspiration. Unfortunately his grandfather passed away before Paolo gained success as a musician, and the song is one way in which Paolo honors and remembers his grandfather. It is truly a special song, very touching and sentimental.

Paolo Nutini is one of my favorite singer/songwriters. He is 22 years old and from Scotland. His first album, These Streets, was released in 2006 when he was 19, and is one of my favorite albums. It has amazing songs like "Last Request", "New Shoes", "These Streets", "Jenny Don't Be Hasty", and "White Lies".

He recently released his sophomore album, Sunny Side Up and it is very good. The album feels more raw and has more elements of folk and soul. Some standout tracks from the album include "Candy", "Coming Up Easy", "No Other Way" and "Growing Up Beside You".

Paolo Nutini - Last Request

Paolo Nutini is a young talented singer/songwriter from Scotland. His album, These Streets, was released in 2006, and is still current, fresh and timeless. His followup album, Sunny Side Up, was released a few months ago and is equally brilliant.

The song Last Request was the first of four singles off his first album, and if you take a listen, you will know why. The song is catchy for all the right reason. It's upbeat and poppy, but has an edge. Paolo's vocals are also very unique. It's a great song to sing along too. See if you can watch the video without singing out loud.
