On November 23, mega producer, songwriter, singer and rapper Timbaland will be releasing "Timbaland Presents Shock Value 2". The album will feature many artists including: Miley Cyrus, The Fray, OneRepublic, Katy Perry, Drake, Lady Gaga, Keri Hilson, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, Brandy and Justin Timberlake. A final tracklist has not been revealed, but several songs have been leaked. "Morning After Dark" features SoShy and is the lead off single. The second leaked track "Say Something" features Drake. A track called "Give It Up To Me" with Shakira, Lil Wayne and Timbaland was recorded for the album, but was included on Shakira's album, and will be her second single. With or without "Give It Up To Me", the album will be a hit, producing many successful singles.
I personally like "Morning After Dark". It's a really great track and has Timbaland's slick style all over it. The background beat is sick. It is radio friendly and will get stuck in your head. The clip of "Say Anything" with Drake doesn't leave me wanting more. "Give It Up To Me" also has Timbaland's signature style, beat and production. It's an alright song, nothing special about it for me. Shakira does sound awesome with her unique vocals, but the song overall is fairly average.
