Adam Lambert - "Time For Miracles"

Adam Lambert will be releasing his debut album on November 23rd. The album doesn't have an official title or tracklist, and really, not much is confirmed except for the release date.

Adam Lambert did record a song called "Time For Miracles" for a movie called "1012" and his song is the lead single. Adam Lambert sounds amazing on the track. The track must have been written with him in mind as it is his style. It is an emotional rock ballad, and Adam knows how to deliver the emotions. I really like the song and think it will do well on the radio. Adam Lambert is a versatile singer, but this is the genre he excels, and if there are more tracks like this on his album, it will be a great debut album.

Jordin Sparks Meets Katy Perry's "Hot and Cold"

Jordin Sparks won American Idol season 6 and has launched a successful career. Her debut album, called Jordin Sparks, had three successful singles: "Tattoo", "No Air" and "One Step at a Time". It is actually a really great album with many great tracks, my favorites being "Freeze" Her sophomore album, Battlefield was released in July and includes the singles "Battlefield" and "S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)"

I was a fan of her when she was on American Idol and enjoyed her first album. I saw her open for Alicia Keys on her "As I Am" Tour. Jordin Sparks has an amazing voice and she was amazing live. She sang live and was flawless. Anyway, here is Jordin Sparks covering Katy Perry's "Hot and Cold" on Radio 1 Live Lounge.

I'm not a big fan of this song, but I think Jordin Sparks does a great cover. I love how she gets into it and nails the vocals.

Kris Allen - Live Like We're Dying

Kris Allen is now living the good life. He upset Adam Lambert and became the 8th American Idol winner. And win he did.

In 2007 he released an album called "Brand New Shoes". While Kris is a great musician and has a great style, I think his real talent is for arranging and reinterpreting songs. During American Idol, Chris briallinatly covered "Fallin' Slowly" from Once/Swell Season, "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers, and "She Works Hard For The Money" by Donna Summer. And he can (almost) credit his win to his cover of "Heartless", originally done by Kanye "Jackass" West. In fact, Kris Allen's version, in my opinion, is far better than Kanye's, or The Fray's version.

His new single, "Live Like You're Dying" is a cover, originally a b-side on The Scripts single, We Cry. And he does the song justice, adding his identity to the track.
