Pixie Lott Meets OneRepublic's "Apologize"

You may have noticed a few videos from Pixie Lott... well, here's one more. She does a great cover of "Apologize" originally by the amazing OneRepublic. What do you think of Pixie Lott's version?

Leona Lewis - Echo

November is a huge month for music, especially in the UK. It is when all the major artists release their new albums, and one of the most anticipated albums this year was Echo, Leona Lewis' sophomore album. It was released in the UK on Monday and in the US on Tuesdays. There are several differences between the UK and US version, and I prefer the UK version as it has the amazing "Stop Crying Your Heart Out".

After a few listens, I like the album. I'm not sure if it is as good as her first album, but it is a great album. The lead single "Happy" is one of the best pop songs of the year, although it failed to reach the number 1 spot in the UK charts which was a disappointment. "I Got You" is another track on the album that has potential as a single - it's very well crafted and a good love song. "Brave" is another track I like, the chorus is great and epic. Leona's singing really shines on this track. "Naked" is a great song - it starts slow and builds. This song also has great potential as a single. The lyrics and message of the song are great. Aside from "Happy" and "Stop Crying Your Heart Out", my favorite track is a duet with OneRepublic called "Lost Then Found". Leona and Ryan Tedder sound amazing together. The song is another epic ballad, and is just beautiful. I can picture each artists singing the song alone and it being good, but as a duet, it is amazing and believable. It should be the next single.

OneRepublic - "Secrets" Music Video

"Waking Up" is OneRepublic's highly anticipated sophomore album. It is scheduled for release on the 17th of November. The lead single from the album is a song called "All The Right Moves" and is a great song. I really enjoy it, although it didn't chart well. The second single is called "Secrets" and is a great track, and has OneRepublic and Ryan Tedder's signature sound. Although I enjoy "Secrets", I prefer "All The Right Moves".

OneRepublic will be releasing their sophomore album, Waking Up, on the 17th of November. The lead single, "All The Right Moves" is one of my favorite tracks at the moment, and I've posted it several times, including the music video.

While a tracklist has not been confirmed yet, a second song has leaked. The song, "Secrets" will be the lead single in Germany, as it is featured in a German movie. "Secrets" is a great song and has great build up. I prefer "All The Right Moves" and think it's a better song, but "Secrets" is still a great track. "Waking Up" is one album I am anxiously waiting for. As you may have noticed, I am a big fan of Ryan Tedder and his songwriting/producing. (OneRepublic and Ryan Tedder are on one of the tracks on Leona Lewis' album Echo. The song is called "Lost then Found").

Bonus: "Everything" and "Come Home" with Sara Bareilles :

I found this "demo" and hopefully it will pop up on a OneRepublic album. It is listed as a demo, but it sounds complete and ready for commercial success if you ask me. If it doesn't end up on a future OneRepublic album, hopefully he is shopping the song around to another artist. It is a brilliant song called "Everything" and is a great track. I prefer it over "Secrets".



"Come Home" is a great track off "Dreaming Out Loud", OneRepublic's first album. The band recorded a version of the song with Sara Bareilles and it's more brilliant than the original. While I like the original, the harmonies with Ryan Tedder and Sara Bareilles are amazing and add depth and emotion to the song. I really like it and hope you do as well.

OneRepublic has a brand album, "Waking Up" which will hit store shelves on the 17th of November. The lead single is called "All The Right Moves", and if you are a frequent visitor to this blog (Thank You!), you will seen a few posts about it here and here.

As you've guessed, I am a big fan of OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder, and this song. It's really catchy and I cannot wait until "Waking Up" is released.

OneRepublic - All The Right Moves

OneRepublic can do no wrong at the moment. The bands first album, Dreaming Out Loud, has sold 1.8 million albums in the world, and four great singles, "Apologize", "Stop and Stare", "Say (All I Need)" and "Come Home". Dreaming Out Loud is an album you can listen to from beginning to end without having to skip a song. It is great all the way through.

Ryan Tedder, the lead singer, is an excellent songwriter and record producer. He co-wrote Leona Lewis' smash hit "Bleeding Love". He has worked with Backstreet Boys, Hillary Duff, Lupe Fiasco, Chris Cornell, Shayne Ward, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, Daughtry, Westlife, Natasha Bedingfield. He has written some big songs, including "Halo" for Beyonce (although it was intended for Leona Lewis), "Already Gone" for Kelly Clarkson, and "Battlefield" for Jordin Sparks.

OneRepublic is getting ready to release their follow up album, Waking Up, which is scheduled for release on the 17th of November. The lead single is called "All The Right Moves" and is scheduled to impact radio stations on the 29th of September.

This song is massive. It has OneRepublic all over it and is an instant classic. The production is very slick and the song is very catchy and radio friendly. I can and have been listening the the song nonstop. When you mix Ryan Tedder's writing, production and vocals, you can always expect good things. The leas single is really good, and I can't wait for Waking Up to be released.
