Lea Michele - "On My Own" at Human Rights Campign Dinner
As most of my friends and many of you know, I am quite obsessed with the tv show Glee, the musical Spring Awakening, and Lea Michele, who is in both. She is so beautiful and talented!
Lea Michele (and the cast of Glee) was at the event, and Lea Michele performed "On My Own" from Les Miserables. She was introduced by the cast of Glee, and talked about her upbringing and support for equality.
What do you think of Lea Michele and her anecdote? What about her performance of "On My Own"?

Glee - Sneak Peak - No Air
As you may have noticed, Glee, is one of my current obsessions, along with Lea Michele, who is Rachel Berry on the show.
Next week's episode will feature three new renditions of songs including:
- "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown, performed by Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Montheith (Finn Hudson)
- "Hate on Me" by Jill Scott, performed by Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones)
- "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne, performed by Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Montheith (Finn Hudson) [sneak peak]
The audio of "No Air" leaked a few days ago, and I stated that I liked it, but wasn't too impressed. But after hearing it a few more times, and seeing the clip, the song has grown on me. I am a fan of the original with Jordin Sparks, and think that Lea Michele can hold her own. As far as the show is concerned, it looks like there will be drama between Quinn and Rachel, which should be interesting.
What do you all think of the song and the show? Are you all as impressed/obsessed with Lea Michele as I am?

Glee - Sneak Peak
Glee is, hands down, one of my favorite shows. It's as camp as it is witty. The writing is brilliant. The concept is original and fresh. And the actors/singers are talented.
Next week's episode will feature three new renditions of songs including:
- "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown, performed by Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Montheith (Finn Hudson) [sneak peak]
- "Hate on Me" by Jill Scott, performed by Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones)
- "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne, performed by Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Montheith (Finn Hudson)
And from that clip, this week's episode looks like it is going to be massive. I'm not a big fan of the original by Avril, but Lea Michele's singing is amazing. She carries the song and performance (and show). Seriously, she is amazing. I like that the song and scene are dramatic, but simple. I love the staging and costumes. I'm curious to see how the song moves the plot; I guess we will find out next Wednesday.

Glee - No Air
No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown is one of my favorite songs from 2008. And now, my favorite show of 2009, Glee, is doing their own rendition. The song will be featured on Wednesdays episode, and will also be on the soundtrack, "Glee: The Music, Volume 1", which comes out on the 3rd of November.
The song features the amazing Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Monetheith (Finn Hudson). I really like this song and when I first saw the tracklist for the album, I was very excited to hear it. And honestly, I was a bit disappointed, (although I had really high expectations). I still really like this rendition, but the vocals are not as strong as I'd like. I love Lea Michele and don't think she can do wrong, but I would have liked stronger vocals from Cory Monetheith, but then again, he does a great job singing seeing as he is an actor and not a singer. I will not be skipping this track on the album when it comes out. I also can't wait to see the performance on the show.
What do you all think of the song??
(There are more songs on this week's episode, and here is a sneak peak I posted earlier - "Glee - Boys vs Girls")

Glee - Boys vs Girls
On this week's episode of Glee, it's the Boys Vs the Girls. And both sides are killin' it.
Earlier I posted video of the Boys, doing "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi and "Confessions" by Usher. Here it is again (because it is THAT good):
And here is the audio for the Girls' performance. They perform "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and The Waves and "Halo" by Beyonce:
My Opinion: I am a massive fan of "Halo" by Beyonce (and Diana Vickers' cover is better than Beyonce's in my opinion), but I don't like this version of it. I really like the vocals by Lea Michele, but I don't like the tempo. I love the vulnerability of the song (especially Diana Vickers' cover) and making the song faster just takes that all away. It sounds like it could have been in Grease, and I don't mean that in a good way. I think the guys' nailed it with their performance. Both songs are good and the vocals are smashing. It's all about "Confessions", it's so unexpected and awesome.

Glee - New Songs! from "Rhodes Not Taken" (Episode 4)
Here are three songs from tonight's episode. All three have guest star and Broadway superstar Kristin Chenoweth. "Alone" and "Maybe This Time" will be on "The Music of Glee, Season 1, Volume One" which hits stores on the 3rd of November.
"Alone" sung by Matthew Morrison and guest star Kristin Chenoweth (originally by Heart):
"Maybe This Time" sung by Lea Michele and guest star Kristin Chenoweth (originally by Liza Minnelli):
"Last Name" sung by Kristin Chenoweth (originally by Carrie Underwood):
I really like "Alone" as sung by Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison and can't wait to see the scene. While I like Kristen Chenoweth and adore Lea Michele, I'm not to into "Maybe This Time" or "Last Name".
Let me know what you think of Glee and the three songs.
And come back tonight with your favorite quotes from the episode. Enjoy!
