Esmee Denters - Outta Here

Esmee Denters is one of my favorite new artists. I first came across her music while browsing YouTube over two years ago. Since August 2006, Esmee has been recording covers and posting them on YouTube. She was one of the first YouTube hits, and got a lot of attention.

Here are some of my favorite YouTube clips:

"What Goes Around (Comes Around)" (originally by Justin Timberlake):

"Unwritten" (oringially by Natasha Bedingfield):

And now, Esmee Denters is ready to release some original music.

Esmee Denters is the first artist signed to Justin Timberlake's record label and is set to release her album, Outta Here, in the UK on the 1st of February. The album was released in The Netherlands (where Esmee is from) and I've had a chance to listen to it, and it is really great pop/rnb album.

The lead single is also called "Outta Here" and is making a big impact in the UK. Like the album, it's really great pop. The chorus is always stuck in my head. The production is slick and has Justin Timberlake's marks all over it. The track has a great mix and balance between Pop, Dance, and RnB, forming one great catchy song. It makes me want to dance! It also makes me really happy and giddy - strange!

Here is a great acoustic performance of "Outta Here":

Esmee Denters is a great talent and her album and single, "Outta Here" is really great. Her next single is called "Admit It", which has more of an RnB flare and sounds like early Destiny's Child. Other standout tracks on the album include, "Bigger Than The World", "Gravity" and "Sad Symphony". Hopefully she will be releasing the album in the US soon as I can see it being a huge success. I also think "Gravity" and "Sad Symphony" have the potential to be massive singles, especially in the UK.

I can't wait to hear more from Esmee Denters and to hear what you all think.
